Terms of Use
The short version
- Your first 100 deletes are free. SpaceCut Pro unlocks unlimited deletes.
- SpaceCut Pro is a weekly or annual subscription through Apple. No free trial. It renews automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel any time in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
- You decide what to delete. Deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days.
Agreement
SpaceCut is made by YAY Studios Ltd. By downloading or using SpaceCut you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), which governs your licence to use the app. Our company-wide app terms at yaystudios.com/apps/terms also apply; where they differ, this page is the more specific one for SpaceCut.
Free use
You can download SpaceCut and review your library for free. Your first 100 deletes are free over the lifetime of the app on your iPhone. The count is kept on your device.
SpaceCut Pro subscriptions
- What you get: unlimited deletes.
- Plans: weekly or annual. The price in your currency is shown in the app before you buy. There's no free trial.
- Payment: charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
- Auto-renewal: your subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling: in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → SpaceCut. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Restoring: tap Restore Purchases in SpaceCut Settings while signed in with the same Apple Account.
- Refunds: purchases are handled by Apple, so refund requests go to Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your photos and deletions
SpaceCut helps you choose what to delete, but the decisions are yours. Deletions go through Apple's Photos framework: iOS asks you to confirm, and deleted items stay in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days, after which iOS removes them permanently. If you use iCloud Photos, deletions sync to your other devices. Please keep a backup of anything you can't afford to lose; we can't recover items once they've left Recently Deleted.
Fair use
Please don't copy, resell, reverse engineer or misuse the app, or try to get around the free-delete limit or the subscription.
The app as it is
We work hard to make SpaceCut reliable, but it's provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for lost photos, data or storage, or for indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.
Changes
We may update these terms as SpaceCut changes. We'll update the date at the top, and material changes will apply from your next subscription period.
